Express Yourself in English offers one-on-one or small group classes for English Language Learners. Classes are offered in the office, your home, or via webcam. Location is not a restriction.
Pronunciation: Identify and work on the trouble areas that keep you from being fully understood. We can help you make your pronunciation understandable and clear and work on accent reduction.
Writing: Learn how to create understandable, concise, and well-written English sentences.
Vocabulary: Build the number of words that you know so you can express yourself and understand others more fully. Also study common expressions and slang phrases to understand what they mean. In addition, increase the vocabulary needed in your professional or work situations.
Grammar: Work on the pesky areas that still confuse you—such as verb tenses, article (a, an, the) use, plurals, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions.
Reading: Learn how to read written English more efficiently and improve your comprehension of what you’ve read.
Listening: Improve your ability to understand and comprehend what people are saying in every day situations.
Fees: Fees are determined by length of course and size of group. Group instruction can be designed beginning at $25 per hour. Contact me for further details.
